Alright, yall. My favorite season is finally here…. it’s FALL!! Soon will be coming the cool weather..the pumpkins..the hayrides…the leaves turning colors..football season.. they’re all great things to look forward to! Fall to me is like pure bliss.
That’s why I LOVE to decorate my home with fall decor! It brings that cozy and comfy feeling of joy into the home, (and I think we all could use need more of it in this wild year of 2020).
It’s important to create a space in our homes that focuses on joy – instead of pandemics, riots, and a hyperactive hurricane season. While there is a place for that, it shouldn’t be in our home. The home is our place to refresh, relax, and recharge. It should be free of worries and full of love.
Therefore, I’ve put together a list of the best fall decor finds every home needs. All of these are from Etsy, because as much as I love Amazon, I love supporting small businesses even more.
Why You Should Shop Small
Entrepreneurship is the heart of the American Dream. Etsy has enabled so many women to pursue what they truly love and turn it into a full time income. It’s important that we support those businesses so they can keep thriving, and in return we can have more of them.
If you’re thinking “I can save a few bucks getting this stuff on Amazon tomorrow”..sure. Amazon may have some cheaper items made in China, but often times.. price shows quality. With Etsy, these business owner’s care about the the quality of their work– not just the return on their investment.
Okay, I’m going to stop trashing Amazon now. I actually really love Amazon – just not always for seasonal decor. Shop Etsy. Shop Small.

Now that I’ve given you my spill about why I love Etsy so much, here are my favorite items that your home needs (in no specific order) :
The Pumpkin Truck, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Love Sign
How cute is this?! Can you imagine this sitting on your kitchen countertop?! All of your friends will surely be complementing you on this arrangement!
The Tiered Trays and Plaid pumpkins have to be purchased separately (see orange links), but these adorable autumn signs are what make this whole thing so dang cute!

The “Words of Fall” Wooden Sign
First off, did anyone catch onto my catchy title? Get it? Words of Fall.. like the song Boys of Fall by Kenny Chesney? Sometimes I seriously impress myself with my puns!
When I saw this sign, it immediately got me in the fall mood. I mean.. do these words not instantly bring you a little joy?!
Plus, I have to add that this isn’t my first run-in with this shop, Sweet Water Decor. I’ve actually purchased a MANY things from them in the past. I can assure you they’re a great brand to buy from!

Fall Front Door Wreath
Your seasonal decor is never (and I mean never) complete without a front door wreath! A wreath is the cherry on top (or front?). Click here to see this fall wreath. It is literally everything and more I could have dreamed of.
When driving through any neighborhood, the houses with the wreath just always look more “homey”. But that is why I love the bold and “loud” wreaths. They stand out, and they’re just very welcoming.
Whenever I take mine down or change it out based on the season, it’s a little depressing. It’s like that feeling the first week of January when the Christmas tree is taken down. Ugh.

Y’all…. How cute is this Welcome sign?! Every time I see these on a front porch, my immediate thought is “How cute!!”. A.k.a… we all need one!!
I’ve recently gotten to know Sheila Smith of Sheila Smith Designs (who makes these), and I can tell you she is artistic beyond belief. She has so many adorable variations of a welcome sign, you’re bound to find the right one you need through her.

For all you women out there who’ve got a little sass in you.. this doormat is for you! It’s so fun!!
Every time I see this mat, I immediately start singing the song in my head. (In case you don’t get the doormat’s word reference, go listen to the song “Truth Hurts” by Lizzo).

The Fall Pumpkin Garland
I had a really hard time finding a fall garland as adorable as this one.

Okay.. I just love this sign!! It gives off all the fall vibes we’re looking for!

Last, but not least, is this adorable fall oven tea towel for your kitchen. Tea towels are great because they’re budget friendly, and a small piece that really pulls a lot of attention in the kitchen.
If you’re not really into decorating for the holidays, or simply don’t have the time this year, you could literally put just this up in your kitchen and be done. It would check off the box that you’re ready for the holidays and bringing the cheerful vibes into the kitchen.
